How to write to Scrollwork, what to include, and what happens to your message.
Writing
The contact page is the way to write: about an error, a barrier, a question, or anything else. You need no account.
- Your email address: where a reply would go. It is used to reply and for nothing else.
- Subject: optional.
- Message: up to four thousand characters.
Press Send. The page checks, quietly, that a person is writing; for that check the form needs your browser's scripts turned on. Then it says Thank you: your message has arrived. A reply, if one is needed, comes from scrollwork.app. Up to five messages can be sent in an hour.
What to include
- An error in the content: the page, the person or the verse, what it says, and what you believe is right, with your source if you have one. Corrections are welcome and taken seriously.
- Something not working: the page, what you were doing, what happened, and your device and browser.
- A barrier to reading: the same, with any assistive technology you use. See Accessibility.
- Your account or your data: the email address of the account, so the right one is found. You can delete your own account at any time from your account page; see Your account and privacy.
What happens to your message
Your message is kept so that it can be read and answered; it is not sent on to anyone, and nothing in it is shared. How long it is kept, and how to have it deleted, is on the privacy page.
Answers are not instant, but a real request gets a real answer.
